About this course

Teenage girls are dropping out of sport, and squash is no exception. This course dives into the reasons why, exploring the attitudes, pressures and barriers that shape their experience. You’ll hear directly from girls and those working with them, helping you build a deeper understanding of what they need from sport today.

By the end, you’ll have the insight and inspiration to create sessions that feel relevant, inclusive, and truly welcoming to teenage girls – on their terms.

What you'll learn

In this course you’ll cover the following:

  • What teenage girls really think about sport, and why many drop out.
  • The barriers they face and how squash can break them down.
  • What needs to change to make sport feel relevant and inclusive.
  • Real stories, insights, and ideas you can use in your own sessions.
