Looking to inspire your young leaders or upskill your team to deliver brilliant group squash activities? Whether you’re a school, club, county, community organisation or active partnership—we can bring the training to you.

Our Bespoke Leaders Workshop is designed for any organisation looking to train staff or young leaders to confidently deliver fun, inclusive squash sessions. Whether it’s a Young Leaders, Game Changer, Squash Stars, schools-focused session, or even outdoor courts, we’ll tailor it to suit your group.

All of our bespoke leaders’ workshops come with:

  • Access to our online Game Changer course for all participants (worth £25 per person).
  • A chance to add on an equipment package to kickstart your sessions.

What can candidates do with this award?

Upon completion of this course, candidates receive an official England Squash Game Changer certificate, the equivalent to a leaders’ qualification.

If you’d like your leaders to be covered under England Squash’s insurance, each participant must complete a safeguarding certificate and hold a valid DBS check.

If your leaders are delivering under your organisation’s insurance, these requirements will fall under your own policies.

How much does it cost?

Prices for the bespoke workshop start at £300.00 for up to 10 candidates, or £450.00 for up to 16. All prices include access to our Game Changer course worth £25.00 per person.

Frequently asked questions

What activities can my leaders lead with this workshop?

All candidates over 16, can lead group sessions with adults using our session plans. If completing a Squash Stars workshop, they’ll also be able to run Squash Stars session as long as they have an England Squash safeguarding certificate and DBS.

If candidates are covered by your own insurance and policies, your leaders will also be able to lead sessions with children.

If candidates are under 16, they’ll be able to assist a qualified coach.

Do candidates need to be an England Squash members?

All candidates will be required to have an England Squash membership to sign up to our learning platform and complete the online training. They can take out a free ‘community membership’ to get started.

Do I need to provide a venue?

Ideally yes, but if you need help with sourcing a suitable venue we will assist. However, the venue costs will need to be covered by the organisation booking the workshop.

Why is the cost for more candidates higher?

We’ve tried to keep this as low as possible. When there’s more than 10 candidates, we need to increase the number of tutors delivering which means the cost increases. All candidates also get access to our Game Changer course, worth £25.00. 

What if I want to train more than 16 people?

Register your interest and let us know how many people you’re looking to train. We’ll work with you to try and accommodate your participants.
